The best of the best in Park City will be at Deer Valley. The new St. Regis Deer Crest Resort, will open fall of 2009 in Deer Valley, Utah. The mode of transportation to the resort is North America’s first funicular. What exactly is a funicular? It is a cable railway ascending a mountain – especially, one in which an ascending car counterbalances a descending car. These 15 passenger luxury funicular cabins feature heating and air conditioning and a spectacular view of Deer Valley.
